Walt Disney deserves a monument in Washington D.C because he showed many what he was capable of. According to Walt Disney Biography "He had lots of dreams and one of them was to make the Walt Disney amusement park to show people all his amazing creations and cartoons he had drawn like Mickey Mouse". Walt Disney worked for his dreams and I think that was a inspiration to many people. His success showed many people that if you work hard enough for what you really want in life they can happen. The point is that anything is achievable in life if you just put in the time and work it is possible. To lose is to give up and not try your best. To win is to give it your all and show how much dedication, hard work you have put into it. I see it as it's not about if you lose or win. It's about every day putting in the work and accomplishing something little every day. It's about the pain you embrace during your work effort to become the best you can be and show others what you have done to win in your battles. For example Logan Stieber has put so much work and dedication into wrestling that he has shown everyone what he is capable of doing by winning 4 NCAA titles. The time and effort he puts into the sport is just amazing. He worked everyday and look where that has got him but he has lost in his career before, you could be the best in the world and still lose.
I have learned from this poster assignment to add affects to pictures and to think out of the box. If I could change one thing about the assignment I would want to change how many math terms we had because we had a lot of them and it would of been a little easier for my group to get them done quicker to move on to the next term. Yes I think this assignment will help me remember terms in the future because it showed me how I should think out of the box and to use my time wisely.
Did Apple make the right choice? Apple refused to help the FBI so they hacked into it themselves ignoring the 4th amendment… Our Privacy.
FBI hacks into iphone without Apple’s assistance. According to PRO/CON: Should Apple have resisted FBI pressure to hack an iPhone? “The FBI backed off because it was able to hack into the phone without Apple's assistance. The 4th amendment was at stake, and the purpose of law is to protect people’s rights.” Apple should just not let FBI hack in without their permission and let it slide. The FBI was breaking the 4th amendment which is our privacy rights. The FBI had a right to search but not force a company to make a software. According to PRO/CON: Should Apple have resisted FBI pressure to hack an iPhone? “the Fourth Amendment also says the government has a right to search personal property if it has a warrant and probable cause.” Even though that the 4th amendment states that the government has the right to search personal property if they have a warrant and probable cause the FBI can’t force apple to help them in their case. FBI tries to claim similar power the president had during World Wars. According to PRO/CON: Should Apple have resisted FBI pressure to hack an iPhone? “ War powers in effect during the two World Wars gave the president substantial power to force corporations to redirect their resources to aid the war effort. Those powers were repealed after the wars ended. The FBI wanted to claim similar powers during normal times, without an act of Congress.” The FBI will try to claim powers like the president had during World Wars but will never get them because their is no reason for them to have them powers. The FBI should not be able to hack into Apple’s software. Apple made the right choice to not help the FBI because if Apple created that software for them they would be violating their company rule and the law which is privacy rights. The celebrity life is not as awesome as you think. Celebrities love having attention and pleasing the crowd, but when it comes to everyday life they want it to go away. According to Can Fame and Fortune make you happy " Beyoncé has said that though she likes attention when she on stage, she'd be happier if she could "cut it off" when she isn't performing and enjoy her life." Such as when Beyonce tries to take her kids to school she is spotted and people surround her. Does fame and fortune make you happy? “Fame and fortune can make people happy by getting free clothes from top designers, front-row seats at prestigious award shows, and trips around the world.” Most people would just love to be a celebrity because they get all these perks and make a lot of money. Celebrities would have a much better life if we didn't crowd them and follow wherever they go.” Lawrence said that simply stepping out of her front door gives her anxiety. Indeed, famous people can’t so much as walk their dog or tie their shoes without being gawked at, photographed, tweeted about, or Instagrammed.” Everyone needs a break once in awhile like the celebrities need all the time. Celebrities don’t get to do whatever they want. Not all stars have trouble with fame. “ Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Will Smith, and Justin Timberlake, all whom all became famous as teens seem to be doing fine.” Although some celebrities don’t have trouble with their fame it can still be a stressful moment for any Celebrity like Jennifer Lawrence. My Christmas break was fun and I had a great time with my family. The first thing we did before break was we got a tree to bring home and put all our decorations on, after we had put all our decorations on we would put our own decoration on and dad would put the star on top every year. The next couple of days after break we did a lot of shopping and cleaning around the house for Christmas eve and Christmas day because we have people over and we go to my grandparents on both days to open gifts. I got a color changing light bulb, my favorite candy, a bag full of goodies, and christmas pajamas on Christmas eve. We came home around 11:00 pm and went straight to bed. Christmas day my dad woke me up to go help him make our breakfast before mom and my brother got up. We made a fruit bowl and a breakfast casserole like we do every year on Christmas day. Once they got up my brother was excited and wanted to open presents right away so we did that and my dad got the camera to record us opening them for my grandparents to watch. I got a hoverboard, a really nice hunting chair, hunting clothes and some other cool stuff. I loved Christmas break and I wish it would’ve never ended. Currently i’m in 8th grade and my grade point average for the 1st nine weeks was 3.8. I like to be outside playing sports mostly and doing stuff with hands on. I like the military and kinda want to be in the Navy. My interest led to my number 1 choice. When I grow up I want to be a Aircraft Mechanics and Service Technicians. I will become a Aircraft Mechanics and Service Technicians by learning the basics about the machines and tools at EHOVE to become the most efficient at my job. According to “Ohio Means Jobs” you need to have the “Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.” I will be able to accomplish this skill and training basics, because I will do what it takes to be the most efficient. I will study hard and do my best to try to become a Aircraft Mechanics and Service Technicians. In order to be a Aircraft Mechanics and Service Technicians, I will need to have a open mind and thinking skills. "Our mechanics are very important to the on-time delivery of packages, if those workers are not on the job, planes carrying packages could be delayed.” It is very important to be on the job as a Aircraft Mechanic so nothing is behind schedule and have everything on time like delivering packages around the world. The planes need to be fixed and ready to go. Aircraft Mechanics and Service Technicians deployment each year and salary. According to “Ohio Means Jobs” website, “ Ohio will be looking for over 100 Aircraft Mechanics and Service Technicians per year to fill a job slot. I will be paid $28 for each hour of work. I probably will be doing this for my entire career but will be trying to move up the ladder for a better job. I will be trying to retire around my 50’s. Career day and the research helped a lot with the understanding of my job. How much you are paid and where you live is also a big factor of life like i’m paid $28 hourly. If i wanted the max pay of my salary hourly I would have to move to Georgia and live there. I learned how the real world works and that there is a lot of responsibility in both life, your job, and taking care of your family. Career day before it started sounded like a cool and fun thing to do to see how life really is but I really don't know what I want to be yet. The money worked as how good paying your job was and what kind of degree you had. I was a Medical Degree Scientist with a Master's degree.
I took away that Reality store has a lot of responsibility's like spending money wisely, and making sure you don't spend it all on things you don't need. You need to learn and do these so in the real world you wont have as much of trouble as you did in Reality store. The afternoon speakers over in the high school taught me many things also like even know you don't think you'll like it but always give it a try and you might like it and that could be your job for the rest of your life. All in all it was good experience for us and taught me many things about how the real world will be like. |
